Excelsior Fruit is the marketer for the Australian Persimmon Export Group which was originally established in 1989. Over the years the group has created a reputation for being the premier supplier of Australian Persimmon and their two brands are well recoginised on many overseas markets.

Season

Queensland growers begin harvesting in late Feburary with harvesting moving into more southern regions finally finishing in Victoria late May. 

Varieties

There are three main varieties grown in Australia being Izu, Jiro and Fuyu.

Brands

The two most respected brands we market are Sweet Gold and Golden Star.
